Spring Break at Antelope Island

We took a little camping trip over Spring Break to Antelope Island.

It was perfect!!  The weather was beautiful and there were no bugs.

We hiked Buffalo Point one evening and saw some beautiful views

of the lake.  The next morning, we took a little hike around the
shoreline and back to our campsite.  There were purple
wildflowers everywhere. We saw lots of wildlife:  a coyote trotting

 along the shore of the lake, two antelope grazing in a meadow and

 a little rabbit tucked inside a rock. I could have done without this

 big snake that slithered across the path.   

 

We took a picnic lunch out to Garr Ranch one day. 

The kids loved looking in all the buildings. 

The museum is hands on which they loved. 

They got to feel how soft a buffalo robe is and

work the bellows in the blacksmith shop. 

Yee-haw!!!
